Hall
Exhibits
of handiwork and homegrown produce are on display in the
Exhibit Hall by Adult, 4-H and Youth exhibitors. A juried
art competition with professional and amateur categories
is also on display in the Exhibit Hall. In addition, there
are educational booths where viewers can learn more about
the county through displays by various service agencies.

Livestock
The
Neshoba County Extension Service conducts three livestock
shows during the Neshoba County Fair: Beef Show on Tuesday,
Dairy Show on Thursday, and Sheep Show on the last
Friday of the Fair. These shows are open to all 4-H and
FFA members in Mississippi. In addition, a Calf Scramble
is held for Neshoba County Youth ages 7 to 17 with calves

Political
Speaking
The
Neshoba County Fair is the political forum for
the State of Mississippi. State, local, and on occasion
national politicians come to the fair to make their speeches
at the Pavilion in Founders Square. News media from around
the state converge on the Square to cover the speeches.

Flea Market /Crafts
Show
Held
Saturday in Founders' Square the Crafts Show at the Fair
attracts exhibitors from across the Southeast. The Square
is packed with booths offering pottery, paintings, metalwork
and a wide variety of unique items for sale. |

Midway
Activity
in the midway is composed of over twenty rides for children
and adults along with a host of games and food concession
stands. The Midway is contracted to Rebel Amusement Rides
of Houma, Louisiana.

Miss
Neshoba County Pageant
The
Miss Neshoba County Pageant is a tradition at the Neshoba
County Fair. The pageant is held Monday night at 8:00
after the official opening of the Fair.

Racing
Program
The
racing program is a big attraction at the Fair. The program
consists of Standard bred harness horses with U.S.T.A.
eligibility certificates. Thoroughbred and and Quarter horses
also have a part in the racing program. Racing is conducted
each afternoon Sunday through Friday.

Ticket
Information
Tickets
are available at Gate Number 1 and the Main Gate (Gate Number
2).
Day tickets are $15.00 and season tickets are $30.00.
Children 9 and under receive free admission. |
